Glendronach 1993 Bottled in 2020 26 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes Nose: Red bean paste, mixed with warm and ripe cantaloupe, juicily sweet. Orange jam, smoky chenpi and dried maples joined as well. Red dates, goji berries, sweetened chestnut purée and slowly moved to Mandarin oranges. After a while in the glass, milk chocolate, red delicious and vanilla. Custard and nice tea from the emptied glass. Palate: Lots of fruits going around, Kyoho grapes, mandarin oranges, green apples, then Hami melon, yellow plums, bananas and peach. After some chewing, the body thickened with the taste of some orange pith, citrus zest and plum peel. Finish: Black tea leaves, half-dried mandarin orange peel, dried flowers, cinnamon, dark coffee and a bit of earth. Thick milk chocolate also appeared.
