We have partnerships consisting of a large network of licensed retailers from within the United States, Europe and across the world ensuring orders are fulfilled. Producer: Benoit Dehu Vintage: NV Size: 750ml Varietal: Champagne Blend Country/Region: France, Champagne This wine has very pleasant and lovely aromas. On the palate it is very elegant, rich and full-bodied. Producer Information The Champagne house of Déhu Père et Fils was founded in 1787, two years before the French Revolution. The passionate and pensive Benoit Déhu represents the eighth generation of vignerons at this historic, but under the radar estate located on the far western edge of the Vallée de la Marne. After a fruitful stint at Bollinger, Benoit returned to the family domaine with a strong vision for future. Because the family Champagne house is well established, Benoit has the unique opportunity to both manage the estate and explore his passion for naturally farmed, handmade, artisanal Champagnes under his own label, Champagne Benoit Déhu. In 2011, he peeled off 1.70 hectares of choice vines that he farms biodynamically, 0.40ha of which are worked with a horse. From these vines he crafts a single-vineyard, single-vintage, single-variety Champagne called “La Rue des Noyers”, named for the parcel that was once bordered by hazelnut trees (Noyers). The wine is fermented and aged in oak barrels, many of which are made from trees in the nearby forest of Fossoy. From this same parcel, Benoit also produces a Coteaux Champenois white and red. All three wines are made from 100% Meunier. This extremely focused micro-project allows Benoit to gain a better understanding of the Meunier grape via three distinct expressions of Meunier from the same terroir. In the 2015 vintage, Benoit introduced two new Champagnes to his arsenal: "Initiation" and "L'Orme". Initiation is a blend of Meunier from La Rue des Noyers, and Pinot Noir from a small parcel dominated by clay and sand at the bottom of the hill, which Benoit planted using massale selection Pommard clone from Burgundy. The second addition, L'Orme, is made of 100% Pinot Noir from a tiny parcel previously planted with elm trees (Orme), and captures the attributes of complexity, personality and class that make Déhu Champagnes so alluring. The style of Benoit’s low- and zero-dosage wines is intense, urgent and energetic, with beautiful tension and fine minerality. Though production is miniscule – less than 4,000 bottles – fellow vignerons and wine professional are taking note of Benoit's work, earning him an...

Rich flavors of bitter chocolate, walnuts and baked chestnuts. This Oloroso wine has an intense, concentrated aftertaste, lightened by a tangy acidity. Producer Information Bodegas Lustau is a famous Sherry producer in Andalucia and is arguably the most recognized fortified wine producer in the world. It was was founded in 1896 by José Ruiz-Berdejo as an almacenista, which also grew its own vines. Almacenistas generally bought young wine (Ruiz made his own) and matured them in their own soleras, before selling them to larger houses, who would either blend it with older wine, or mature it longer in their larger soleras. It wasn't until the 1950s that Ruiz's son-in-law Emilio Lustau Ortega began bottling and exporting his own wine. Now based in Jerez, Lustau is the only winery that has sites in all three cities of the Sherry triangle: Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María and Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Lustau buys fruit from vineyards, while also maintaining two of its own. The first is the Montegilillo vineyard, which is on the white limestone albariza soil local to the region. The second is the Las Cruces vineyard, which is on sandy coastal soils. Lustau now produces a range of Sherry, but achieves the most recognition for its Almacenista collection. Continuing the tradition, the collection is series of single offerings from smaller producers that Lustau bottles and distributes. The style of the local producer is maintained and their name is featured on the bottle.

Producer Information Benoît Lahaye is without a doubt one of the most sought-after grower champagnes today. The global rarity of their wines is exacerbated by the fact that they farm only 4.8 hectares of low yielding vines.Benoît studied viticulture rather than oenology (winemaking). This explains why the emphasis has always been on the vineyard for Benoît. He took over the family domaine in 1993, gradually converting to natural and low-intervention farming and production, becoming certified organic in 2007 and certified biodynamic in 2009. Benoit eschews toxic herbicide and pesticide treatments and he leads Tamise, an Auxois draft horse, to plough most of his fields in order to minimise soil compaction.

Producer Information The young, talented and humble Benjamin Benoit had to rise through the ranks quickly, as his father passed in 2019, leaving Benjamin to take over the winery at the age of 23. As a tireless worker, he had endeared himself to such luminaries as Amelier Berthaut, Charles Lachaux and Nicolas Faure, for whom he interned, and as such started to catch the eyes of sharp importers for his potential. Today he creates a wide and complex array of captivating wines of great purity and energy. At the age of 25, Benjamin Benoit has taken over his family domaine in Pupillin in 2020. This happened a bit quicker than anticipated due to his fathers passing in 2019. Thankfully, Benjamin had been working under some of our favorite winemakers in Burgundy. When tasting his wines, these past experiences clearly set him up for success. Charles Lachaux, Nicolas Faure, and Amélie Berthaut- how much have we spoken about the three of them in the past few years? A lot:) Which only made it natural for Benjamin to be our first official import. When Speaking with Benjamin a few things stood out. First, he isn’t trying to make Nicolas’ Gamay or Amelie’s Fixin; he is trying to make site specific wine from his vineyards in Pupillin. He has pretty much revamped the way his father was doing it, bottling each vineyard and lieu-dit individually and highlighting the individual terroirs of the region; this is something that has not been done in the region. He has been in the process of moving his viticulture practices to organic and regenerative methods, supporting the growth of natural biodiversity in the vines. With only two vintages under his belt, it is going to take some time for Benjamin to be able to invest in fully transitioning the vineyards. Most of the vineyards are already treated by hand without the use of tractors or hedging. Plowing is very minimal to limit the soil compaction to support microbial life. Producer: Benoit Courault Vintage: 2021 Size: 750ml ABV: 11.3% Varietal: Chenin Blanc Country/Region: France, Vin de France This has all that beautiful smoke-like reduction upon opening, blowing off to show a bucketload of bruised apple and spice-laden aromatics. Producer Information Like many wine lovers, Benoît began by tasting and serving wines as a sommelier before moving on to production. He studied in Burgundy, trained in a conventional farm in Chambolle Musigny, but his sources of inspiration were immediately from producers of natural practices, such as Dominique Derain and Yvon Métras. Finally, it was in the South, with Eric Pfifferling, with whom he worked for almost 3 years, that Benoît acquired his sensitivity and the desire to cultivate in harmony with the living elements. In 2005, after working with Olivier Cousin and the Menard family of the Domaine des Sablonettes in the Anjou area, where he will finally settle, he found a farm to rent with 7 ha of old vines in Faye d’Anjou, with Chenin blanc, Cabernet-Franc and Grolleau, the latter being one of the red varieties on which Benoît bets the most. Part of the vines were in poor condition and was forced to replant using the quality plant material they selected. A large part of the vineyards are around the house where the mini wine cellar is also located. The work in the vineyard is preferably done by his two horses, so as not to compact the soil and the connection Benoit has for this animal, his father being a horse breeder. The soils are schist with a soil layer that varies according to the plots. Chenin blanc is mainly planted on the plateaus, such as the Clos des Mailles or Montbenault, while the reds are more situated on the slopes. At the winery, Benoît says that his most time-consuming job is washing the hoses. Make a rack for each wine, the only time when he adds a little sulfur. The wines are bottled after a year of aging, which can be in fiber vats or in wood used according to the wine’s material. From his past as a taster and sommelier, Benoît has preserved a certain rigor of tasting, which makes the wines, being natural, stand out for their precision.

The palate is well-balanced and rounded. You’ll find flavors of creamy white peach & juicy pear balanced by just a touch of orange pith, lemon rind and grapefruit with an attractive cohesive finish. Producer Information The Domaine’s roots date back to 1809 but really came to prominence in the 1930s when Marcel Moreau expanded production. By the 1970s the Domaine’s reputation had grown further still thanks to Bernard Moreau, who was in charge at the time and after whom the Domaine was subsequently named. Bernard’s sons, Alex and Benoit, arrived at the estate in 1998 and have since been taking the quality levels to even greater heights. They are now recognised as one of the main reference points for Chassagne-Montrachet. The Moreau brothers farm the estate, which spans 14ha of vines in Chassagne, without herbicides or pesticides and only use organic fertilizer when needed. Harvesting tends towards the earlier side, preferring alcohols at the lower end of the spectrum as Alex Moreau says “we like to drink our wines” - so they aim to produce complexity and character in the wines without compromising balance and freshness. Fermentations, with wild yeasts, are long and élévage takes place in barrel over 12 months without batonnage and racking. The wines are then moved to tank and kept there, on fine lees, for a further 4-6 months before bottling. New oak is present but kept to a minimum - 20% the villages and 25% new for the 1ers Crus. Pure, full of character yet eminently drinkable these are consistently among the top white Burgundies, vintage after vintage.

Producer: Cellier Saint Benoit Vintage: 2021 Size: 750ml ABV: 13% Varietal: Chardonnay Country/Region: France, Jura The palate is powerful and complex. A wine of great finesse and an impressive length in the mouth. He has transitioned from curved guyot to keeping his canes flat and straight to give more space between the canopy in order to curve disease pressure. He works all of his vineyards by hand and makes his own fertilizers. Trimming is done very...

Producer: Benoit Courault Vintage: 2020 Size: 750ml ABV: 13% Varietal: Chenin Blanc Country/Region: France, Vin de France Benoit Courault is a profiled white wine with delicious aromas of ripe white fruit, herbs and mineral notes. On the palate, it is dry and lively with bright acidity. The finish is persistent with a very subtle viscosity.

Producer: Benoit Ente Vintage: 2020 Size: 750ml ABV: 12% Varietal: Aligote Country/Region: France, Burgundy A very aligoté nose features notes of green apple, pear, spice and ample citrus elements. There is excellent vibrancy to the lightly stony and overtly lemony flavors that conclude in a highly refreshing, clean and agreeably dry finale. This is an excellent example of the genre and worth considering. Producer Information Benoit Ente is a Burgundy winemaker based in Puligny-Montrachet. He is best known for white wines from that appellation, made from the Chardonnay grape variety. The domaine farms about 20 vineyard parcels covering around 6 hectares (15 acres). Fruit is picked by hand into small baskets to transport intact to the press. In the cellar, individual component wines are stored in tank or in barrel for 12 months. The wines are then blended and matured for another six months. Use of oak and percentage of new oak varies. All wines are bottled without filtration. The portfolio is headed by a pair of Puligny-Montrachet Premiers Crus wines. Fruit for the En La Richarde wine is grown in a lieu-dit within Les Folatières, the largest Premier Cru here. The vines lie close to the Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru on dense limestone. Its counterpart is the Clos de La Truffière cuvée. La Truffière lies nearby on slopes just below the hamlet of Blagny. This former scrubland was a good source of truffles until vines were planted. The Premier Cru is split into two distinct plots, one of which is surrounded by a stone wall. Ente's vines lie in this enclosed site, hence the "Clos" addition to the name. The soil is based on more stratified limestone with pebbly marl. It tends to produce slightly leaner wines than those from Folatières. Generic Puligny-Montrachet is made from seven villages vineyard parcels scattered through the appellation. The oldest was planted in 1943. The fruit for the Chassagne-Montrachet cuvée comes from a plot bordering Puligny-Montrachet which was originally planted to Pinot Noir. It was changed to Chardonnay in 2005. The Chardonnay line up is completed by two Bourgogne Blancs, one a single parcel wine called Golden Jubilee, planted in 1963. A Bourgogne Aligoté is made from parcels within the Puligny-Montrachet...

Crisp, concentrated pure white fruit, very Vaudésir, with excellent persistence. Finesse and class to finish. Reviews: Vinous: The 2020 Chablis Vaudésir Grand Cru has an almost clinical bouquet, wonderfully defined, with superb salinity and mineralité. The focused palate is citric and tensile, and the salinity gets the saliva flowing. Classic Chablis through and through. This will be an exceptional Vaudésir. Burghound: This is also aromatically cool and very pretty with its array of white and yellow fruit, broad range of spice elements and good Chablis typicity, all trimmed in oak hints. The wood influence also is present on the caressing and refined but decidedly intense flavors that culminate in a bone-dry finale. This too is very good. Producer Information Jean Paul & Benoît Droin is one of the oldest wine producers in Chablis with nearly 400 years of wine-growing history. The estate is well known for its spread of impressive vineyard land, including plots in five of the seven Chablis Grand Cru vineyards, the most important of which is Les Clos. Most of Droin's top vineyards have this soil, giving typical oyster shell and wet stone characters to the wines, although the estate's Petit Chablis vineyards are comprised of less clay-dominant Portlandian soil, producing Chardonnay with more subtle and fruity characters. Medium to full-bodied, layered and textural, with an enveloping core of ripe fruit, succulent acids and a long, expansive finish, it's the most gourmand premier cru in the range.

Fresh acidity, intense long flavours lingering into a warm finish. Beautiful… but no giveaway. Producer Information The origins of the Bodega Valdespino date back to 1264 A.D. The first member of the Valdespino family to cultivate and age Sherry wines was Don Alfonso Valdespino, one of 24 Christian Knights who fought for King Alonso to re-conquer the City of Jerez from the Moors. As a reward for a successful battle, the King rewarded the Knights, including Don Alfonso Valdespino by giving them land in the City of Jerez.Although commercial activities are recorded as far back as 1430, the company was not registered until 1875. Reviews: Wine Enthusiast: This traditional wine from Lustau is made in the Cream style. It's dark and pretty, with PX-ish prune and caramel aromas. It's not as thick as Pedro Ximénez, and thus isn't syrupy. But it's certainly rich and full of cookie, molasses, maple and brown sugar flavors. For anyone who likes a sweet Sherry that's balanced, this is a good place to go. Decanter: Inviting, with hints of orange blossom, raisin and pickled walnut aromas, smoked nut, citrus peel and peppery spice on the palate.
