Producer: Carlo Rossi Vintage: NV Size: 750ml ABV: 8% Country/Region: United States, California Carlo Rossi Red Wine, cherry juice, fruit liqueur, and plenty of fruit make this is a beautiful, rich and flavorful sangria. Producer Information Carlo Rossi is a California-based value wine brand established and owned by the beverage giant E. & J. Gallo. It produces a number of red and white table wines all under the broad California designation, and is famous for its jug wines, which are larger than a standard bottle and have become iconic to the brand. The brand is named for Charlie Rossi who was a salesman for E. & J. Gallo and was related by marriage to the Gallo family. Rossi began working for the company in the 1950s and the brand itself began life in 1962 as Red Mountain, an inexpensive line of jug wines. These wines proved popular and when Red Mountain's distribution went national in the 1970s, it was rebranded to Carlo Rossi. The rebrandinf too advantage of both Rossi's Italian heritage and his personality - Charlie appeared in commercials promoting the wines as approachable and easy to drink. The brand became immensely popular in the United States and at one point was one of the best-selling wine labels in the country. Carlo Rossi is notorious for naming its wines after several famous European wine appellations such as Burgundy, Chablis and Chianti. Despite the names, these wines don't come from their respective wine-making regions in France or Italy, don't follow any of the vineyard or winemaking practices (or permitted grape varieties) and are not vintage-dated. This has caused some controversy in the past but Rossi is able to retain the names as trademarks of the brand, in part due to the number of years it has been operating. The wines are usually blends of various grape varieties that are popular in California, including Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Much of the fruit used in Carlo Rossi wines today is sourced from California's Central Coast.

Producer: Opici Wines Vintage: NV Size: 1.5L Country/Region: Italy, Sicily Sangria is a traditional Spanish drink typically enjoyed during times of celebration. It offers an intense expression of citrus fruit flavors. It is sweet, yet refreshing on the palate with a hint of cinnamon. Producer Information With roots in the wine business dating back to 1913, Opici Family Distributing is a fourth-generation, family-owned wine and spirits wholesaler operating in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Florida, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia and Delaware. In 1913, Joseph and Esther Opici–both Italian immigrants–began importing wines from Italy and distributing them within New Jersey. Despite falling on hard times during the Depression and Prohibition, the Opicis remained focused on their passion for the wine industry. Once Prohibition was repealed in 1933, the Opicis persuaded a colleague from California to ship them one railroad car full of wine for $1500, and they were back in business! In 1934, Joseph and Esther established the American Beverage Distribution Company of New Jersey. Later that year, the couple’s son Hubert graduated from high school and joined the business. As with many small family businesses, every family member had a job – Hubert was the delivery boy, Joseph was the salesman, and Esther ran the office. Several years later, the family recognized opportunities waiting on the West Coast, and Joseph moved to California to establish the family’s first winery in Cucamonga in 1939, leaving Esther and Hubert to run the East Coast operations. Hubert put his wine career on hold in 1942 when he volunteered for the Armed Forces. But he eagerly rejoined the business a few years later, taking the reins of the New Jersey operations as his mother and sister, Mary, moved to California to assist his father. In 1944, Hubert married Rose Marie Deregibus, who became his partner in life and in business. Together, the husband-wife team expanded into new markets – they purchased the Cazanove Wine Company of New York in 1946. The Opicis also moved their West Coast winery to a larger facility in Altaloma, California in 1948. During the 1990s, the Opici family expanded their distribution business by purchasing wholesale operations in Connecticut and Florida. As the company moved...

Order from the Largest & Most Trusted Premium Spirits Marketplace! Featured in ROLLING STONE MEN'S JOURNAL US WEEKLY NOTICE: Many other small liquor store sites may end up cancelling your order due to the high demand, unavailability or inaccurate inventory counts. We have partnerships consisting of a large network of licensed retailers from within the United States, Europe and across the world ensuring orders are fulfilled. Producer: Lolea Vintage: NV Size: 750ml ABV: 7% Varietal: Tempranillo Country/Region: Spain, Aragon Cherry red tone sangria, clean, bright and attractive with a slight effervescence of fine, steady bubbles. Producer Information In 2013, Bruno Balbás, along with three good friends, founded the Lolea Sangria brand in Zaragoza with the goal of reclaiming a drink that they loved; a drink whose reputation and virtue had been sullied by too many generic versions and too much tourist pandering. Sangria Lolea is an artisanal, bottled libation that is made with only real ingredients and comes in a variety of styles, from the recognisable Lolea Noº 1 (a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, orange juice, lime and cinnamon) to the sparkling white wine-based Lolea Brut with wild apples and elderflower—a refreshing blend that always instantly piques my appetite. Not wanting to miss out on the action, Barcelona superstar chef Albert Adrià even requested his own Lolea Sangria style, dubbed La Cala. A step up from your average summer sangria, La Cala leans towards the vermouth aspects, evoking the flavours of the Mediterranean with strong hints of rosemary and cinnamon. Casa Lolea, on the top fringe of Barcelona’s ever-evolving Sant Pere neighbourhood, is one place where I might actually order a sangria. This smart little vermuteria, with its handsome red, white and black colour scheme, elegant tiled floors and exposed bulb fixtures, offers vermouth, wine, cocktails, artisanal Lolea-brand sangria and delectable versions of some very classic tapas and aperitivo dishes. Living just down the street from this inviting outpost, it’s not hard to convince myself to pop in for a couple of house specialities such as the salty-sweet, vermouth-marinated mackerel, tender homemade mojama (dry-cured tuna) with orange and almonds, succulent sardines in escabeche, marinated salmon blinis with yogurt and truffle honey, semolina truffle risotto, creamy foie gras mi-cuit with black volcanic salt, or confit bacalao with olivada and capers. A good mix of local and foreign patrons frequent the compact dining room, with the dozen or so tables consistently filled, from 9am for coffee and pastries, to 1am as leisurely dinners finally come to their satisfying conclusion. Opened in November 2014 by Balbás and his wife Sofía Matarazzo, along with chef Ramón Miracle, Casa Lolea represents the flagship of what may...

Producer: Sangria Lolea Vintage: NV Size: 750ml ABV: 7% Varietal: Merlot, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon Country/Region: Spain, Aragon Its intense, pleasant aromas are married with crisps nuances of grapes and sweet fruit. Full-bodied and ample on the palate, Lolea confirms all the olfactory suspicions, following them with the experience of a wide array of ripe red berries and blue flowers, where you appreciate the noblest part of the wine and tannins. Living just down the street from this inviting outpost, it’s not hard to convince myself to pop in for a couple of house specialities such as the salty-sweet, vermouth-marinated mackerel, tender homemade mojama (dry-cured tuna) with orange and almonds, succulent sardines in escabeche, marinated salmon blinis with yogurt and truffle honey, semolina truffle...

Producer: Beringer Vintage: NV Size: 750ml ABV: 9% Country/Region: United States, California Red wine with fresh and fruity flavors. Bold and fruity with aromas of citrus and mulling spices. Best served over ice with freshly chopped apples and citrus. Try it warm for the holidays with cinnamon and cloves. Producer Information Beringer is California's longest continuously operating winery, located in the heart of Napa Valley. It has become one of the largest and most distributed American labels, and is known for its range of wines, from affordable table wines to fine single-vineyard cuvées and a private reserve label. Brothers Jacob and Frederick Beringer harvested their first vintage in 1876, in what has since become the St Helena AVA. In 1883, Frederick built the Rhine House as his home, a Victorian mansion, and it is now the main visitor site of the winery. Beringer's success was in part because of the federal license they obtained to make wine for religious purposes during Prohibition (1920-1933). The wine was sold to churches for sacramental purposes. After Prohibition was repealed, Beringer became the first winery to offer public tours – a significant contribution to the beginnings of modern Napa Valley tourism. Beringer was bought by the beverage manufacturer Nestlé in the early 1970s, and since then it has changed ownership numerous times. It is currently owned by Treasury Wine Estates, one of the largest North American wine suppliers, which also owns, among other labels, Penfolds, Wolf Blass and Stags' Leap. In 2015, Mark Beringer, the great-great-grandson of Jacob Beringer, became chief winemaker. As well was having wide distribution, Beringer is known for its range of quality wines. It owns land in Napa and Sonoma and all of the vineyards it owns or leases are third-party certified sustainable. It bottles numerous single-vineyard offerings, some of the most notable being Bancroft Ranch in Howell Mountain AVA, Chabot Vineyard and St. Helena Home Vineyard in St Helena AVA as well as Knights Valley Vineyard in Knights Valley AVA. Its portfolio is composed of the usual California offerings such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay, with some Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Bordeaux-style blends as well. Beringer's most lauded range is the Private Reserve label, offering wines made from Cabernet Sauvingon and a Chardonnay. The 1986 Cabernet Sauvignon was named number...

The finish is long and juicy. This wine is pale straw color. The wine has a fresh fruity flavor with hints of green apple, ripe pear, citrus, spices and pleasant oak tones taste.

Producer Information In 1950 a group of 9 wine producers from the Province of Reggio Emilia set up Cantine Cooperative Riunite. Eleven years later, 4 wineries from the Province of Modena followed their lead and founded Consorzio Interprovinciale Vini (CIV). Come the 21st Century they realised that only by merging they would have been able to offer increasingly comprehensive and effective responses to the demands of the global market. Thus, in September 2008 Cantine Riunite & CIV was founded, becoming the hub of Lambrusco production and one of Italy’s leading wine companies. Another important chapter was written in 2002, when Cantine Riunite bought CANTINE MASCHIO, thus consolidating its position as leading sparkling wine company.
