Dried plums, figs, dates, red raisins. Overall, the nose is very different from the other two barrels and perhaps atypical but of rare elegance and richness. Palate: Rich in flavor and texture. Sweet and sour. Dried and candied red fruit profile: pasta, figs, prunes and other candied fruits. Chocolate and spices. Oak tannins and bitterness from red apple peel. Almost imperceptible alcohol. Finish: Long and persistent. Distillery Information The cognac was distilled in the mid-1970s and bottled on 30 June 2022 at 50.4%.
