Whiskey: GAME OF THRONES House Tyrell Clynelish 14 Year Single Malt Scotch Limited Edition Clynelish Reserve Game Of Thrones Edition is a highland single malt scotch representing House Tyrell and displaying its rose sigil. *Bottle is NEW with original sleeve included never opened. Size: 750mL Proof: 102.4 (51.2% ABV) Age: 14 Year Origin: Brora, Scotland Distillery: Clynelish House Tyrell of Highgarden rules over the Reach, the lush and fertile region of Westeros whose abundance feeds the realm. The Tyrell golden rose is beautiful but hides razor sharp thorns beneath the surface. They have lived up to their house words of Growing Strong, defending their position of power with weapons of sharp words, sharp minds and sharp actions. Like the Reach, Clynelish is positioned among green pastures and rolling hills, with scenic views of the North Sea. The fruity, waxy and sea-spicy flavors of this single malt are said to come from the water of Clynemilton burn, which runs over seams of gold in the rock. And while this vibrant, golden Scotch is light and floral, like House Tyrell, it’s not to be underestimated with its underlying complex combination of Highland and maritime qualities. Distillery Information The original Clynelish distillery was founded in the village of Brora in 1819 by the Marquess of Stafford, notorious for his role in the Highland Clearances. It was subsequently rebuilt on a new site across the road in 1968, and the original Clyenlish distillery was renamed as the Brora distillery. The new Clynelish distillery building was designed following the blueprint of the Caol Ila distillery on Islay. *The Cask Cartel operates as an E-premise Marketplace in which all products are fulfilled by regional licensed retailers whom set their own product prices. ConciergeUSA GAME OF THRONES House Baratheon Royal Lochnagar 12 Year Limited Edition
1074.56 CAD
Whiskey: GAME OF THRONES House Baratheon Royal Lochnagar 12 Year Limited Edition Royal Lochnagar 12 Year House Baratheon is one of eight single malts Scotch whiskies made to commemorate the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones. Set to hit shelves in the fall of 2018, this 12 year-old single malt features the sigil for House Baratheon--a crowned black stag. Size: 750mL Proof: 80 (40% ABV) Age: 12 Year Origin: Scotland Distillery: Royal Lochnagar Distillery Royal lineage drives the iconic pairing between House Baratheon and Royal Lochnagar. Similar to Robert Baratheon ruling the Seven Kingdoms upon the Iron Throne, Royal Lochnagar was deemed a whisky worthy of a royal family as it was granted a Royal Warrant after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert visited the distillery in 1848. Balanced with delicate fruits and spices, this taste of royalty is best enjoyed neat. Light notes of oak and sweet liquorice that develops into a rich, creamy vanilla coffee and finishes with a mild nutmeg custard note. These iconic whiskies serve as must-have collectibles for Game of Thrones and whisky adorers. Distillery Information Everything about the plant, especially its two small stills and worm tubs, point to this being a classic, ‘heavy’ 19th century site. Instead, its distilling team work to make it ‘light’. The wort – from a rake and plough mash tun – manages to be clear (which is not easy to achieve). Ferments are long, but it is the way in which the stills and worms are utilised which makes the difference.Distillation is slow to maximise reflux and the stills’ doors are opened after distillation to allow air in to rejuvenate the copper. Meanwhile, the worm tubs are run warm. All of this maximises copper conversation and produces a new make with the aroma of dry grass, a background of fruit and mid-palate depth. It is this weight which allows the bulk of the make to be aged in ex-Sherry butts. *The Cask Cartel operates as an E-premise Marketplace in which all products are fulfilled by regional licensed retailers whom set their own product prices. Whiskey: Wemyss Malts A Day at the Coast 14 Year Old Single Malt Scoth A Highland 14 year old hogshead from Clynelish distillery. Tastes younger than you would think, with lots of grain character left behind.Order from the Largest & Most Trusted Premium Spirits Marketplace! Featured in ROLLING STONE MEN'S JOURNAL US WEEKLY Size: 750ML Proof: 92 (46% ABV) Age: 14 Year Origin: Scotland Distillery: Clynelish distillery With its Single Cask line, Wemyss Malts moved well beyond the usual purview of the artisanal whiskey-maker. Companies like Wemyss are not distilleries, and therefore do not make their own whiskey. Instead, they select and purchase premium whiskey from the distilleries, and use these to make their own blends for sale. Since the core of what a “negociant” like Wemyss does is blended whiskey of one type or another, the idea of bottling a Single Cask line is two full steps beyond the norm, and the 14 Year Old Highland scotch is the youngest expression in that line. Wemyss Malts A Day at the Coast 14 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes Nose: Nose starts by imparting the crisp scent of sea spray. Underneath that is the vibrant sweetness of apples, along with some low-lying musty and woody notes. Palate: On the palate, with the wood supplanting the salty sea breeze, but mixing well with a foundation of vanilla and apple pie sweetness. The scotch also carries notes of peatiness, and has a noticeable, but not overpowering spicy bite to it, producing a flavor that is well-balanced. Finish: The finish is warm and has an earthy, musty aftertaste, and carries for a middling length of time.
