Moser considered doing a fine press edition through his Pennyroyal Press but abandoned the project. xxvi, 309; xxx, 305; xxii, 307 pages. All three volumes are first editions (first printings, with no indication of later printings). All three are fine in fine jackets, or very nearly so. All three are signed by Moser on the title page. Inferno has a compliments of the press card laid in; Purgatorio has a review slip and a press photograph of one of the illustrations laid in. Signed sets are uncommon.

The book is bound in full decorative cloth with top edge treatment, and has mild shelf wear to the cover edges and corners, faint sunning to the spine, and just a hint of smudging to the head of the text block. Overall, a solid, tight and crisp, Very Good+ copy in a Near Very Good dust jacket, which has several shallow losses and short creased tears to the spine ends, edges and corners, a tiny snag over the rear gutter, sunning to the spine with fainter toning to the cover edges, and smudging to the covers with light soiling to the spine. The jacket is wrapped in Mylar, and the item is housed in a Good only slipcase, which has wear to the corners and edges with short peels to the paper allowing the boards to start through in areas, as well as sunning to the head and back with lighter toning to the edges of the sides, and rubbing with small stains to the panels with moderate soiling to the rear panel. The dead body was cut to pieces and the fragments distributed for burial in different parts of the kingdom. the body which had once been inhabited by the creative power of God, was still so instinct with life that it would ensure fertility in all places where even a small part of it was buried Margaret Alice Murray (1863-1963) was the first woman to be appointed as a lecturer of archaeology in Britain, working at UCL from 1898-1935. Murray was Born in India and travelled extensively in her youth working as a nurse and social worker. At the turn of the century, she took part in a series of excavations in Egypt and led the unwrapping of Khnum-Nakht in 1908, becoming the first woman to publicly unwrap a mummy. Murray played an active role in the first-wave feminist movement, joining the Women's Social and Political Union and attending marches. After the beginning of the First World War, she started to focus on her research of the witch-cult hypothesis. The Divine King in England is one of her later works.
