This copy is inscribed to his "old" (enclosed letter) and "devoted friend" (inscription), Mr. Francis G. Cart, of Mt. Vernon, NY, one of BRITTON's dedicees. Also loosely laid in are brief typed signed letter from Brady to Cart ("I hope that the story may live up to the dedication.") and an original photograph of the author, initialed by him. A charming association from this prolific writer. 8'' x 5.25''. Original full red cloth with titles stamped in white. No jacket. 392 pages.
